It is primarily focused at Canadian television writers or Canadian television industry people; but I am neither Canadian nor currently in television and I benefit from Denis' insights every day. Plus, he's witty.<br /><br />In a <a href="http://heywriterboy.blogspot.com/2007/07/how-to-give-notes.html">recent post</a>, Denis waxes on "Giving Notes" and while this is strictly focused to notes on television script (in the interest of rewrites), I find the dead-on insights can be applied to any art fused vocation from marketing and advertising to the theatre.<br /><br />Please, if you work in the arts or if you're in a position that empowers you to give notes regarding projects to other people, then I encourage you to take the time to read Denis' post and try your hardest to put into practice his words of wisdom.
